• SecuraNET Billing System works on the concept of packages to simplify administration and usage of the system. There are standard packages for the Prepaid where the following can be specified:

  1. Option for billing – Amount of Data transferred / Internet Utilization Time
  2. Amount of Data transferred can be mentioned in KBs (1024KB = 1 MB)
  3. Bandwidth Allocation – upstream and downstream
  4. Time Access – time range can be fixed for the user to use the Internet Services example between 9 AM to 5 PM, or can be given 24 hour access without restriction.
  5. Validity of the Package example 2 days or 5 days after which the package assigned to the user will expire.
  6. Specification of URL that the user can view. All or none, with or without content filter.
• The partner has the flexibility to provide their website / advertisements without username/password. On the login page.
• The login page is customizable to include the partner’s details and logo.
• When 10% of time/data transfer / package validity is remaining there will be a notice flashed to the user.
• The user access/usage reports will be retained in the system software even after the expiry of validity. The partner has the administrative rights to delete when required in accordance with the company policy.
• The user when is logged in to the system will have a small box on the bottom right of the window that will show him the current status of the package assigned to him and also a logout button, to exit.
• To log in again to the system he can type any web URL that will show the login screen to the user, requesting for username/password, and only on successful authentication will the user be granted access to Internet resources.
• The Billing System has three parts
  1. The administration part which is accessed through the Server-Manager login with rights to make and define packages.
  2.  The billing system manager where the person has rights to make new user and assign them the package for the payment received.
  3. The user login page
     • First Time User: The user needs to enter/update details that will be stored example his full name/ address / passport number/ phone number etc.
     • The subsequent login the user needs to enter the username and password only.
• On the user usage page the user will have the usage details along with the calculation of the payment received and credits remaining.  More detailed logs are available in the administrative login.
• The Log Analyzer Software will be installed on a computer on the network that will fetch the logs reports of each user and will store it on the Hard Disk. This can be queried or a print can be given to the user on request.
